Its happened mate, loan deals can lead to long term progress.
Arteta
Fernandes
Pienaar
Yobo
Jo
How the loan market can be used successfully!!
I can think of laots a players id rather loan to be honest!
Or buy with his wages.

He sure did. Link me where he said that mate, just so I can be sure.
Its not the best, but he failed miserably there. They wouldn't even extend his loan - saying they prefer squad fillers to be young with perspective. Which is my point. Because he didn't make an impression in the Bundesliga, do you consider that he's not good enough to play for us?
There will be plenty of players out there with experience who we could bring in on loan with a view to a permanent move. Who, like Jo? Sol Campbell?
Will the transfer benefit Everton in the long term? No. He's just signed a new contract and is scared of leaving America. In the predicament were in now, we need short term cover until the big players are back and performing and the ANC is finished.
So, will the transfer benefit Everton in the short term? Maybe. Who's to know? I doubt it though, given that he has never performed in decent league. He's performed in internationals which is a pretty high stage.
Depends on what you expect from him mate, hes given us something a bit different and i was annoyed he got injured on Sat i think he has a role of the main striker upfront and (has)looked good in the channels.
Arteta
Fernandes - Didnt stay did he or make a big impact in terms of progression.
Pienaar - Will be off in the Summer
Yobo
Jo - Citeh dont want him. Most fans dont want him.
So...Yobo and Arteta are the real biggies bought at a time when there werent 6 clubs or so able to spend £20mill a player in any transfer window.
Its getting tougher nowdays. Look at the Benega deal. Anthony Gardner....
Moyes has to do his homework big time. But he's resorting to saying "we've not got the money" - meaning these loans are getting very hard to come by in my eyes.
Just as an aside, and I am sure this has been mentioned before, but would people rather we didnt get him in?
According to you mate, Fernandes was here for a season in his first stint you could make an arguement that his loan gave us the shot in the arm we needed to make the Uefa for the first time under Moyes. Not saying he wasnt a snide still doesnt stop him being talented.
Your reaching a bit on Pienaar - shame on you to be fair! Hes been ace for the past year and a half!
Arteta ace!
Yobo Ace!
Id be delighted if Donavon gets anyway close to those four.
To be fair, he scored 7 in 12 last season. Without him we wouldn't have finished 5th.
I'll be honest here, I can't be bothered Googling. I'd wager that's as he has mentioned he is seeking loans but nothing about ones with a view to permanent deals like you alleged, therefore it fits the criteria.
No. But its an indication. Didn't prove himself in the Bundesliga? I present to you Mr Steven Pienaar.
My point was, he hasn't played in a demanding league. 5 games in the Bundesliga doesn't really count, but them letting him go early provides an indication. Pienaar was let go for 2 million. What about international games, surely that's a high standard?
Poor narrow minded point. Pienaar/Arteta and co were virtually unknown before we got them on loan with a view to a permanent move. Theres a lot of football players out there. On the contrary Pienaar had a decent reputation from his Ajax days and Arteta was young but had done well in Rangers but not really given time in Spain.
We do, and sound he's an extra body. I've acknowledged that, but a clause should be in there. What clause? To buy? What happens if both parties are happy with the agreement for the reasons I've posted prior?
That was the pro argument for Lars Jacobsen as well. Being a regular starter for your country does not equate to being top scorer and general leading light of a team 14 places above Denmark.
Can anyone name one Premiership side who have offered a ten week playing contract to a player aged over 25? What's the relevance of that?
