I have just watched The Meg in a 4DX cinema in Leicester Square, London. I have never experienced 4DX before. I was just expecting to watch in 3D, not be thrown about like a rag doll and squirted with water!
Saw that American Animals the other night. Docu-drama that was very good. It's staggering how inept some people are at trying to pull off a heist.
M:I Fallout. Absolutely blown away. Superb action film, best one in years, possibly the best in a decade. Wow. I find no negatives. 10/10
Mrs Sloane
Fantastic film about gun lobbyists
Yeah. 1999 was the year of making crass remakes of classic horror movie. They also redid The Haunting, probably my favourite horror movie of all time.Watched the 1999 remake of the classic horror - The House on Haunted Hill, last night.
What a load of rubbish, switched it off after an hour.
The 1950`s original is much much better.

Another favourite, although a bit newer, was the Legend of Hell House with Roddy McDowell. Found the scene where one of the young female cast was seduced by a spirit weirdly erotic.
I catch up on movies on my yearly flights to Madagascar...lots of time to watch stuff.
Saw "Three Billboards"...fabulous, violent and tender film. Great stuff.
Also saw "El Gringo" perfectly watchable, a bit too cutesy, but held my attention for 1.4 hours.
Also saw "Den of Thieves" Had no idea what this film was about, but it was a great crime/cops-n-robbers films with some excellent performances by some actors that I'm less familiar with. Good action, good acting. Loads of fun.
Also saw "Hacksaw ridge" which was a WWII film. Decent, but a bit cloying and overly dramatic.
Also saw "Red Sparrow"...perfectly watchable but nothing big. The whole speaking-English-with-Russian-accent was anachronistic and bizarre, like watching a 70s TV show.
Can't remember the others, so perhaps not as memorable.
specsavers for him .........
