Last Film You Watched

after joeys comments i expecting some arty nuanced film, but it was hilarious! i think @Joey66 needs a swift kick from the main character!
I've seen most of his plays and they are really good in the main, a similar dark humour to his films. Went with my daughter to see Lieutenant of Inishmore a few weeks ago. It's the 3rd production of it I've seen and it still made me laugh out loud.

I disagree with this on so many levels. First Man is probably the best film I've ever seen. Each to their ow though and I respect your opinions.

Interesting. I realised I was pretty bored by the moon landing. Just wanted them to hurry up and get there. I felt like it was such a narrow view to take of someones whole life.

How do you condense someones life into one film though ?

Especially someone with a life like Armstrong.

The only way to do it properly would be to serialise it.

Went to see this last night - Overlord.

American soldiers sent on a mission behind the German lines, stumble across a Nazi laboratory, where they are doing very bad things.

80% war film, 20 % horror.

Takes a while to get going, but when it does, it earns its 18 certificate !

Remove brain and enjoy.

Just seen it. Definitely a lot better than the one star review I read from a particularly sniffy critic.

I thought it got going very quickly but then falls into a bit of a lull in the village and never quite hits the B-Movie gorefest heights it should but definitely worth a watch. Fun movie.
