Last Film You Watched

It`s the way he can swing from being completely calm and silent to stamping all over someones head and then go back to being calm and silent again.

You`re caught between feeling desperately sorry for him, as hard done to and completely disgusted after he`s just stamped someone to death.

I saw it in the cinema when it came out and literally had no idea what I was going to see as we had unlimited cards at the time, I then saw the bright pink drive logo and was like oh god what has she dragged me too here, and then loved it

I think the soundtrack helps, no idea why that idiot zane lowe put his own soundtrack to it as a remake, bizarre

casting was great, I can understand people expecting more, but as it more indie than blockbuster I think it was almost perfect

This, found it disappointing, was expecting a Happy! type of film but it was a let down couple of funny moments but not worth the time
I was tempted to go and see it, but the reviews said very similar.

The good news is that Happy ! 2 is well under way.
Same here, loved the trailer for it, but only heard bad things when it came out. Was hoping for some Avenue Q style fun, and like McCarthy, so a shame it seems it's not up to much. Might check it out sometime if i get a free/£1 deal on Rakuten/Google.

Beast

Brilliant. A British film set in Jersey about a couples relationship. One is escaping their family, another is a suspected murder. I knew it was meant to be good and thought it was meant to be a psychological thriller but turns out it was more of a psycho-sexual horror. Genuinely subtlety unnerving.

Suspria (1977)

A complete classic. Such great colours. Will be interesting to see what the new one is like.

Couldn`t agree more.

Whoever thought to put him in a silk embroided stadium jacket is a genius, as he looks like he`s just stepped off the set of a Village People video and the next thing he`s stamping someone to death and covered in brains !!

I wanted to see Beast, but it got such a limited release that I missed it.

However you`ve just reminded me about it, so I`ll hunt it down on a stream and hopefully watch it later ;)

Bet it's not a patch on the Steve Martin/Goldie Hawn Housesitter. Absolutely hilarious. Anyone who doesn't collapse in fits of laughter when Steve Martin starts serenading his dad with Toora Loora Loora has a heart of stone.

it was a very serious suspense thriller ! Has Goldie Hawn ever done a serious film, probably not !!
