Re watched Mad Max Fury Road last night, as it was on Channel 5.
I hated it when I saw it in the cinema, but since then I`ve completely changed my mind over it.
It`s a great film and a worthy addition to the Mad Max stable.
Charlize Theron is standout in the lead over Tom Hardy as Max.

It's a great film, much like bale in the dark knight, hardy recognises this isn't his film and compliments instead of competing. I really enjoy how much the film upsets the incel brigade
He`s almost reduced to one liners all the way through it.
the difference being that Theron gets all the proper dialogue.
She`s much better in roles that require her to glam down, like Max and the superb Monster, rather the regular glitzy stuff she seems to get all then time due to her looks.
The wrong British actor - Nicholas Hoult is very good too, as the wild boy turned good.

its insane, i need to watch it again as i was bit dumbstruck by the whole thing!
Watch it with the subtitles on Neil, as there`s that much going on you miss loads of the dialogue.
It`s one of those films that you see things you`ve previously missed each time you watch it.
The only other film that I`ve done a complete U turn on over time is Prometheus.

its difficult watching these films when you have expectations/investment from the previous films
Have to say I still don't like Prometheus, great cast and high production values, but ultimately a bit of a mess and the creationism vibe doesn't fit the film series in my opinion. Maybe Scott is looking at different questions in his old age.
Yeah I'm no fan, can imagine you didn't like mad max either, what with so many woman breaking from 1950s gender roles
Have never seen any of the Mad Max films. Bit of a weird blind spot for a man who does almost nothing but watch films

I actually happened across a story about him giving out about the new Star Wars film and gave him a listen. Just started Lolling that people are taking life and politics lessons from this twerp
