Tom Hardy should do everyone a favour and stick to an English accent at all times though.

Aquaman,

And it was really good. Even if you're a little sceptical over DC films after some of the recent poor offerings this one is fantastic. Don't be put off, check this out. You won't regret it. A great retelling of the story that's fun for both newbies with zero knowledge of the character and old school fans alike.

100% recommend.

Hmm? Are you sure. Im getting dragged to watch it in the next few days...

Amber Heard horrifies me...

For anyone who is interested Arrow are doing a good half price sale on a lot of their blurays. They're all usually around the £15 mark on Amazon and the like but if you go direct to their website they're all around the £7.50 mark.

Some excellent restorations on there and often packed with a lot of extras. Just ordered Long Good Friday, Rififi and Withnail & I but I'd originally added about 10 titles to the shopping cart and had to make some hard choices.

Available on Amazon Prime.

Well, I suppose if you believe a positive outlook will make everything better then you will probably enjoy this film in the way its makers intended. Otherwise, if you are prepared to suspend your disbelief in such things there is still plenty there. It is a dramatisation of John Callaghans autobiography; a life-changing car accident leads to a career as a creator of provocative cartoons. Lots of familiar faces put in good performances and, considering the serious subject matter, manage to add a good deal of appropriate humour as well...
