oh i didn't know Dancer was his...enjoyed that, Björk was great.
Proper downer at the end, tho'.
i was wondering this last night as we watched The Hidden Face (and before that Mother!)...so many films have too many
unnecessary downers.
Conspiracy Theory is one such good example of a thrilling mystery that while not an entirely happy end neither did it leave a bad taste in the mouth.
same...just ended really weird (i probably should've had subs on for Tommy Lee Jones).
Felt rushed, which considering it was three hours long is some going.
Stan & Ollie. Absolutely fantastic film. Coogan & Reilly are both fantastic. Will win a lot of awards I think.
Just watched Vice about Dick Cheney and his virtual running of the Bush administration.
What a terrific movie, it was written and directed by Adam McKay and has the same sort of feel as The Big Short (another wonderful film)
This is scary and worrying about how much power he had and the control over the government. The cast is marvellous and the acting even better, both Bale and Steve Carrell are fantastic along with Amy Adams

Watch it wearing a Blinfold it's much better.
If you enjoyed the film, you should read the book.
The book is a 10/10 and one of McCarthy`s most readable for fans and non fans alike.
They did a pretty good job with the film tbh. ( unlike the Road )
Sandra Bullock is very good in it and is getting more attractive as she gets older though ?

It's weird though, he's not had one really good movie yet or iconic role, yet he's the biggest movie star in the world...
I mean like, Swartzenegger had Terminator, Predator, Commando, etc... Stallone had Rocky and Rambo... Willis had Die Hard and Pulp Fiction...
The Rock has made a bunch of instantly forgettable 6/10 movies, but keeps getting paid bagfulls of money...

Watched Saving Mr Banks yesterday. I enjoyed it. I love Emma Thompson, she inhabits her character 100%.
Spotted her in some mini series back in the early 1990's and she was the most beautiful lady I had seen (Audrey Hepburn aside)You just knew then she was going to be an A lister.
