Sat through The Favourite on Saturday night - what an absolute pile of garbage that is! Don't waste two hours of your life going to see it!
It's worth trying a few more, Dogville was produced in a very specific way and all but one other are not done like that.
I'd go for Break the Waves, Dancer in the Dark and Melancholia. Antichrist for his shock factor side, maybe.
No Country For Old Men
Strong 8/10 film. Very much enjoyable.
Just watched the hateful 8 on Netflix. I love quarantino films. This was good but not sure I’m a big fan of the way it ended.
Watch it wearing a Blinfold it's much better. In my top 5 all time that movie.
Finally watched Bird Box tonight, not great not terrible.

Rampage. Currently on Sky Cinema. If you like 'The Rock' its literally everything you'd expect from one of his films.
6/10.
Spotted her in some mini series back in the early 1990's and she was the most beautiful lady I had seen (Audrey Hepburn aside)You just knew then she was going to be an A lister.Sandra Bullock is very good in it and is getting more attractive as she gets older though ?
Sandra bullock defo up there..Spotted her in some mini series back in the early 1990's and she was the most beautiful lady I had seen (Audrey Hepburn aside)You just knew then she was going to be an A lister.
Yep..
It's weird though, he's not had one really good movie yet or iconic role, yet he's the biggest movie star in the world...
I mean like, Swartzenegger had Terminator, Predator, Commando, etc... Stallone had Rocky and Rambo... Willis had Die Hard and Pulp Fiction...
The Rock has made a bunch of instantly forgettable 6/10 movies, but keeps getting paid bagfulls of money...
