Alita: Battle Angel. Very enjoyable and a great spectacle - luckily our nearest cinema had it on their biggest screen.

Genuinely surprised to hear this. Reading reviews though I guess you're not the only one who liked it. Wonder why it did so poorly in the theaters?

Watched a few films this week as I've been off work all week

The Beast Within - decent little 80's horror flick

Humanoids From The Deep - cheesy as hell

Christine - another corny film but really fun watch

Batman Ninja - Batman as an anime, good but not great

Sweet Sixteen - paint by numbers teen slasher

Happy Death Day - awesome film, like a crazy hybrid of Groundhog Day and a slasher film

Freddy vs Jason - not seen this for a good 10 years, still the best of the 'modern' Nightmare and Friday films

Splatter - short film from Roger Corman starring Cory Feldman and Tony Todd, not very good

Starts off good
Middle bit is ok

Children of Men. Damn good film and well done. First time seeing it.

That director knows how to make a film. Had no idea it was one of his films.

For whatever reason, the cinematic efforts of the Lonely Island never seem to catch on. I absolutely loved it tbh, genuinely hilarious in parts
