As @Sharpattack says, the last twenty minutes is when it all starts to happen and the rest of the film sets the scene for the the end.

It`s creepy, rather than in your face and relies on old fashioned suspense and atmosphere, rather than CGI. ( which I really like )

It didn`t frighten me in anyway, but it`s a film that gets under your skin.

CGI can do one in horror films, no need for it, except maybe the backgrounds and lighting effects. Where did you watch it COYBL ??

Shazam is a really good film, I was quite surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Seems like they're finally finding their feet with these DC films now. It's fun without being to dark, the story is good and he villain is quality. The ending was a nice set-up for the sequel (you'll spot the villian of the next film early on if you look closely). All in all, great viewing and light fun film. Will be watching again soon.

Caught this on Netflix the other day. A decent twist on the Bonnie and Clyde story. Great period evocation and 2 fantastic performances from the central leads.
