CGI can do one in horror films, no need for it, except maybe the backgrounds and lighting effects. Where did you watch it COYBL ??As @Sharpattack says, the last twenty minutes is when it all starts to happen and the rest of the film sets the scene for the the end.
It`s creepy, rather than in your face and relies on old fashioned suspense and atmosphere, rather than CGI. ( which I really like )
It didn`t frighten me in anyway, but it`s a film that gets under your skin.
