The way I`ve read it mate, is that the humour is supposed to be ultra black and therefore not necessarily laugh out loud ?

The reviews have been very good for it.

Reviews are mixed from what I’ve seen, it’s not got a great average on metacritic.

I didn’t find the humour remotely dark and it’s certainly not witty, it’s a mix of bad slapstick comedy and saying ridiculus things about Jews (which is obviously meant to show how silly anti Semitsm is) but it’s done in such an unsubtle and ham fisted manor that its just a really odd experience.

The main kid can’t act to save his life either, harsh given he’s only 10 but its true..

A very strange watch but not entirely unenjoyable, it did have some ok moments.

I think the UK must be virtually the last place to get it? The French Blu-ray came out at the start of this month, which gives an idea of how far behind the UK release is. Curzon shouldn't have sat on it for this long, as they've missed out on a lot of the hype - unless they're hoping to cash in on its expected Oscar success when they eventually release it in Feb?

Yeh who knows. Problem is I want to wait till February to watch it on the big screen but I’m scared it’ll be a dubbed version which just sucks.

I very much doubt if Curzon will put a dub into any UK cinemas - I'm 99.9% certain they'll only distribute the subbed version, so I think you'll be fine.
