Last Film You Watched

Holy Motors

It could be my film of the decade. Each time I watch it I pick up more and more references.

Ad Astra. They should have called it Brad Pitt Pointlessly Goes Into Space to Find Tommy Lee Jones And He Has to Come Back Because Tommy Lee Jones Doesn't Want to Come Back With Him.
It's like a art film that's nice to look at, a lot of the images remind me of the inside of a 70s prog rock gate fold record sleeve!!

Journeys End.

Fantastic film and horrific in equal measure.

A platoon of British troops WW1, wait in their trench for the Germans to launch a full on assault on their positions.

Missed it when it was out on the cinema - on Netflix.

Fistful Of Dollars.

Eastwoods great but the story's really hampered by the fact that the rival gangs are an overwhelming combination of stupidity, ineptness, blindness and quite often deaf.

Still a decent watch though.....Don't know whether to carry on and watch For A Few Dollars more tonight or change tack and put Aliens on.

I think For A Few Dollars more is the better of the two myself, great film, well worth a watch, plus Lee Van Cleef is great in it.
