Last Film You Watched

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Very well acted. Pretty harrowing stuff
I still, to this day, have no idea if I like this or not. I watched In Bruges and thought it was one of the funniest and darkest movies I've seen. I was laughing my arse off the whole time. Was thinking Three Billboards would be similar but I don't think I chuckled more than once. Made me wonder if just some of the inflections and such were funnier in In Bruges because of the accents and whatnot.

Yes great a tiny crap story plus a poor Cohen brothers rip off with the crapiest ending ever what could possibly be wrong with that overated film? lol

Please don't let me put you off :D
One day I'm going to watch this, just to see how right/wrong you are :p :D
Watched Rush last night the film about the rivalry between James Hunt & Niki Lauda in 1976.
It was suprisingly good. You don't need to be into F1 or racing cars at all either.
If not seen it is definately worth a watch.

Great film. And surprisingling for a sports/racing film, the action scenes aren't terrible. The documentary is even better.

It's funny you mention the documentary. It was on last night and I watched it then they had the film immediately after.
I was surprised how accurate the film actually was.
Some life James Hunt had! RIP.

Very different films to be fair. Both very good. I know In Bruges has fairly dark underlying subject matter but that isn’t really the crux of the film, whereas 3 billboards is purely driven by a mother’s grief and there is little distraction from that. Sam Rockwell and Frances McDormand are both high quality actors.
Love Ralph Feinnes’ in In Bruges mind you.

Just watched Dig, an old documentary about 2 bands, The Dandy Warhols and Brian Jonestown Massacre, brilliant documentary about a bunch of guys who make awesome music but take to many drugs and get in to many fights.
