Is Collateral a good movie? Tom Cruise ruins films for me (except MI2)

I thought it was excellent and enjoyed it when it first came out. Fast-paced and Tom Cruise was pretty good in it.

Quite an effective, dark thriller.

Two Spanish police officers are part of a prison van escort, when the van is attacked on a remote, snowbound road, by an unknown assailant. Leading to the prisoners and police officers having to work together to fight for their lives.

Starts off a bit naff and then develops into a really good film, character driven and not all about the violence.

Had a lot of good ideas and parts in this film but don’t think it quite pulled it off. Didn’t particularly like the ending. Largely forgettable for me but a lot of people loved it.

That my take on it exactly. I only watched it to set myself up to watch the TV show....and I was throughly dissapointed. I will give the show a go though.

Prolonged yes, less tension, some quite bad acting, storyline.

But I honestly enjoyed The TV show and the Film.
