Last Film You Watched

Rightio, finally got round to watching Man of Steel on Saturday night.

What in god's name of an abomination was that?!

Was there any need for all that sh*te on Krypton? No, no there wasn't. We all know what happened and he ended up on earth, so there was really no need for an hour of the movie to cover that.

I enjoyed like the last hour, with the action, and Superman actually being Superman, but i'm really not interested in his dad and mum.

This is all personal opinion of course.

I did enjoy the little flashbacks to him as a kid and struggling to cope with his powers. I feel they could have done more with this rather than the Krypton factor(see what I did there?).

I don't know. Maybe it's just me. Maybe I need to see it again. It got relatively good reviews, but it did not click with me.

2.5 out 5 Championship Belts

Now I've never been interested in Star Trek.

But people told me the newer ones were pretty decent.

The other day I noticed that the 2009 one was on Film 4 so I recorded it, and watched it today as I worked from home. (Lol)

Shocked to say least. It was well good.

Really want to to see the even newer one now. Really really was shocked how much I enjoyed it. Wouldn't say I'm a full on Trekkie now or anything but it was a good movie for sure.

Helped by having The Beastie Boys right at the start. Had me from then really.

Completely agree with that MoS review there Ijjy. Really wanted to walk out the cinema for that one.

I actually quite enjoyed it tbh.

The story wasn't anything special or anything, I just switched my brain off and enjoyed people punching each other and all that.

I was exactly the same but with the second one. Recorded and watched the first one off film 4 as well, that's good too.
