Dark Waters is brilliant, Mark Ruffalo as ever fantastic @Terrarian I love dramas like this, based on true stories

As for DuPont, nasty company, in the early days of the internet, well maybe early 90s, one of my brothers mates set up a website called Gay Men In Lycra, and there lawyers came after him.
Bearing in mind this was a small website hardly any views and he wasnt making money, they seemed a bit ruthless.

Have you seen Foxcatcher about John du Pont?

I haven't no, but I'll certainly put it on my list if it's worth watching. John du Pont would be one of THE du Pont's I guess?

I find it super interesting reading and watching about these ultra-rich "old money" families like duPont as well as the "not-so-old-but-equally-rich" families like the Sacklers and what have you.

Cheers for the tip!

It's a very intense film.

Yeah one of the Du Ponts, too much money and no friends, basically a danger, as Nymzee says, its quiet intense

Even better.

Speaking of intense, has anyone watched Fire in the Night from 2013? It's about the Piper Alpha disaster in the North Sea. I haven't seen it but if anyone has, I would like to hear their thoughts.
Not seen that but i enjoyed Deepwater Horizon, a disaster film along a similar lines, also true

Deepwater Horizon was good and oh so close to home with regards to the suit wearing [Poor language removed] in charge. Those are, sadly, not few and far between.

I've watched countless safety videos and many of them focus on the Piper Alpha. Always sobered me up.

Just seen The Courier, a spy fim based on a true story during the cold war, really good film about this Russian fella and a English businessman who smuggled documents out of Russia. The businessman wasnt a spy but a straight forward electrical engineer who MI6 recruited, its a fascinating story during the cold war, i love films like this.

Want to see this but Cineworld only have maximum two viewings a day at stupid times so assumed it was kind of bombing with audiences.

Possibly yeah, which is a shame but i think because of the back log of films the cinemas prorities films that will sell more, my local is showing loads of cartoons and kids films right now

Police academy - was a bit meh, a young kim cattrall was probably the only good thing about it. Probably was an awesome film back in its day but now it just seems cheesy and slightly controversial. Is it worth watching the other 7 sequels?
No. Some great comedy films from that era. Police academy was funny when I was 10. Not now.
