Want to see this but Cineworld only have maximum two viewings a day at stupid times so assumed it was kind of bombing with audiences.

Saw this at Odeon at Westbrook, Warrington on Monday. Only about 6 others in the auditorium. Film was good. Not particularly action packed but was tense and was engaging throughout

No. Some great comedy films from that era. Police academy was funny when I was 10. Not now.

Yeah, a lot of 80s movies definitely relies on being there at the time with the vibe of the time etc. Most comedies of the time don't age too well. Funny to see how lewd they were though! Yet PG lol

Dan Ackroyd is my favourite comic actor from that period. Was in some of the best 80s comedies.

Ooh, it's been a while since I've seen it but remember it fondly. John Candy, John Hughes, always a good combo.

Speaking of lewd. Wife and I watched Porky's the other day. I missed out on it in the 80s, but I'm assuming it was probably censored at the time lol

Totally agree. Actually just watched Ghostbusters again the other day. Still a fun watch. Rick Moranis' character trips me out every time.

Trading places is probably my favourite from that era. Maybe the 3 amigos and planes trains close.
I really like dragnet with Tom Hanks also.

It started full of promise, and went rapidly downhill.

One of the best documentaries ever made.
