Good timing this Jimmy.Dune. Incredible obviously.
Dunno why but there were a load of 12 year old lasses in the cinema. Was good when someone inevitably lost it with them after they’d been chattering away for over an hour.
Good timing this Jimmy.
Got a 12 year old lad who is Star Wars daft. Saw the reviews for this referencing it.
Is it for him or too far removed from Star Wars?
Tough one. I think he will really like it but probably won’t get as much out of it. It is a masterpiece like.Good timing this Jimmy.

I’ll probably try catching it again in a couple of weeks. My missus went to watch it this week and she said “it was okay, little underwhelmed”
Honestly considered binning her on the spot.

By this if he’s looking to go I’ll bring him but otherwise wait on Sky/Disney.I think the storyline might be too deep and heavy to be honest. It doesn’t have that obvious fantasy action appeal that Star Wars does.

I swear there were kids about 8 years old watching it where I was. I mean, it’s not particularly violent by today’s standard but it still has its moments and they can’t have had a clue what was going on.

It has been highly recommended to me like, no excuse not to nip over myself to the cinema.
So go myself with no one to look after, my own bucket of popcorn and check it out for the lad.Oh go for yourself for sure. He might love it but could also conceivably come out wondering what all the fuss was about.
Good timing this Jimmy.

This was better than I thought it would be :
The Curse of La Llorona.
Set in the early 70’s, following the murder of two Hispanic children under her care, an American social worker and her family are targeted by a malevolent ancient Mexican spirit.
Good cast, well put together and a good use of suspense to ratchet up the creepiness, rather than loads of CGI.
Netflix.
