I guess depends what types of films you are into. Admittedly, 90% of films I watch is just someone staring at a wall or sky for 20 mins lol

Watched Don't Look Up to see what all the fuss was about. It was an extremely average film. Thought Rylance was v funny as the tech bozo but otherwise it was a comedy very short on laughs and about as subtle as a jackhammer.

Felt the same way tbh. It was so 'in your face' at times that I just found it very meh - almost felt like one of those daft parodies you'd find on YouTube but with a Hollywood budget.

Spider-Man: No Way Home.

First ever Spider-Man, or Marvel, film I’ve ever seen. Thought it was pretty good even though I didn’t understand some parts (probably because I’ve not seen previous ones).

Ghostbusters Afterlife - I love Ghostbusters so was nervous going in, however

left feeling it got the same treatment as Force Awakens. A re imagining of the original. No new ideas but washes the bad taste of the last one.

I watched this the other day too. Very decent but a little overhyped.

I also watched "Spencer". That was a tough watch as it makes Diana out to be a little crazy - even though we know the Royal Family drove her to it. An amazing performance by Kristen Stewart (never thought I'd hear myself saying that) that puts her in pole position for the Oscar.

Sudden Impact - Dirty Harry benefits as multiple armed villains politely stand around gawping while he says a catchphrase or two and then continue to stand around as he very slowly gets round to shooting them in turn.

Very stodgy, way too long and definitely the worst of the series that I've seen. But I've not seen The Dead Pool yet so....

The new Spider-Man. Is ridiculously overrated, and not a patch on the first two Raimi movies. In fact I preferred the first Garfield one as well.

I seem to feel that way about all new movies. We live in the age of hype and bull$%it. So much dross is released that will never stand up to the test of time. Look at how poor the Star Wars sequel trilogy seems after a few years, and yet it was not long ago that everyone was proclaiming Episode VII as the mother of all Rebirths.
