In my top 5 of this century, that film, brilliant true story, the scene towards the end when the camera pans up and you first see them boots, brilliant. The Pianist.
Very good film. I can’t believe I’d never heard of it until last week.
The French Dispatch. Typical quirky Wes Anderson fun. Nowhere near as good as Grand Budapest Hotel but still found it enjoyable.
Still can't work out if I've seen this. Will try to watch tomorrow nightMudbound on Netflix.Set in Mississippi just after WW2.Two families, one black the other white and the realisation that a black war hero is not a good thing in KKK country.Excellent film, shocking at the end. 9/10
Don't worry. I willHard to argue with that.
Drive. I’d been meaning to watch it for years and I spotted it on Amazon Prime Video the other day.
Great film and in my opinion a genuine 10/10
I might rewatch this. Can barely remember anything. My mates were all raving about it. I can only remember lots of slow motion scenes with lots of synthwave tracks playing and being a bit underwhelmed by it all.Ryan Gosling is brilliant in it.
The way he switches from Mr placid nice guy, to full blown pyscho
Yeah I really didn’t expect it. I was a little indifferent towards Gosling before, but that was a great performance.Ryan Gosling is brilliant in it.
