Last Film You Watched

The Pianist.

Very good film. I can’t believe I’d never heard of it until last week.
In my top 5 of this century, that film, brilliant true story, the scene towards the end when the camera pans up and you first see them boots, brilliant.
Along with Schindlers List it's a story people should know about, the Righteous Amoung The Nations.

Black Crab - Swedish with subs.

Great cast and not a bad idea for a film, but like a lot of Netflix films, falls a bit flat.

Sweden is engaged in an all out war and an elite team of soldiers have to transport a mystery package across a frozen sea, that can possibly swing the war back in Sweden’s favour.

Great cast, atmospheric and good sets, however the biggest problem, is that you have no idea who Sweden is fighting or why, which just leaves this massive hole all the way through the film.

I’d like to read the book it came from though.

Netflix.

Ryan Gosling is brilliant in it.

The way he switches from Mr placid nice guy, to full blown pyscho
I might rewatch this. Can barely remember anything. My mates were all raving about it. I can only remember lots of slow motion scenes with lots of synthwave tracks playing and being a bit underwhelmed by it all.
