Last Film You Watched

Realistically you don't need to know what happened in Westview entirely to dot it together. It's good for completing her story and for better understanding, but it's not *necessary* if that makes sense? Friend saw it without watching Wandavision and liked it still, realised what was happening pretty quickly. Not saying everyone's like that obviously, but still...

NEW FANTASTIC 4 WHEN, FAIGE?!?!?!?!

Really? End of Endgame she is a grieving "ex"-Avenger and then we start DS 2 and she has an evil book, she has kids in the multiverse and she's corrupted. People might enjoy the film regardless of Wandavision but I can't see how anyone would understand what's happened from Endgame.

We're also getting an F4 film.

Well they explain verbatim, as it is custom in any American media,
what the Darkhold does and how big bad and evil it is, how when you read it you go mad/evil, and how Cthun created it (later on, granted), and Wanda spends 99% of her screentime talking about her kids, they even show the alternate version of her and her kids in the alternate world etc. and, again, she explains/narrates what and why she does it about 9000 times. How she got it is a bit of a mystery if you haven't seen Wandavision imo, but he said he was okay with how it was explained when they travel and show how it affects others and whatever, so it's retrospectively explained in a way. Again though, that's not me - I'm a dumb nerd and watched all the things anyway.

Tbh I liked what Wandavision portrayed and it told a cool story. Hinted a ton of crap happening in DS, but they never really did, at least not fully.

Hopefully not the old shitshow F4's ffs. Miss them dearly.

Well it explains what the Darkhold is but not how she has it in her possession. It talks about her going for her kids but not how she even knew she had kids. It doesn't explain how she's now the Scarlet Witch until nearer the end etc. It's all well and good showing alternate versions of her kids AFTER this but that's not really how films should be written IMO. Still enjoyed it just think Wandavision is a requirement personally. Like, I mean what if Agatha comes into the next movie and people don't watch Wandavision/Agatha's series? What happens when White Vision shows up in another film? I love the series they produce but the films need to be written like everyone has seen them.

I think that's what I never understood as a move, to go with the fake hype creation - there shouldn't be a prerequisite to watch a ton of series to understand 1 film, imo. They could've recounted it somehow, or something to show at least the gist of what happened, what Westview is, etc.. She just mentions she saw Vision die twice IIRC in the DS2 movie and that's that. Also called herself the scarlet witch pretty early tbh.
