Watched The Nightingale by Jennifer Kent the other day, the same woman who directed The Babadook which I loved. This is brutal and tough to watch at times but pure riveting at the same time. Couldn't take my eyes off the screen - highly recommended although beware it's pretty graphic.

Seen it. Awesome! But yes as you say tough to watch in parts.

Had a sudden need to re-watch Jaws this evening.

Great movie, the pace and direction are beyond compare. Dialogue sounds authentic and the performances aren't forced.

Probably sneaks into my all time top ten.

Sonic The Hedgehog (2020)


I freaking LOVED it. Don't be a miserable a cynic. The world needs more films that are just plain simple and FUN like this. Plus, Jim Carey will always be one of my comedy favourties. He puts in a very Carey-esque performance here.
