Not seen it for a couple of years
Flicking through channels yesterday and saw Pacific Rim was about to start.
Hadn't seen it before and only had a vague idea of what it was about. (Very vague, I thought it was robots fighting, like Transformers)
What a glorious, nonsensical way to waste a couple of hours.

Yeh love that one.
Watch Infernal Affairs (the Hong Kong original) if you don't mind foreign films/subtitles. Without being too snobbish, as with most Hollywood remakes of foreign films, it is much better, and not ruined ruined by Nicholson's ridiculously over the top "performance".

Just googled it. The Hollywood version was the Departed. One of the very best films ever made in my opinion. Nicholson's performance was probably more understated than usual. Seen him play much more OTT roles.
