Medieval.
Apparently, it’s the most expensive film ever made, by a Czech film company. ( it’s an English language film )
Tells the tale of a legendary Czech mercenary, turned rebel army leader, in his fight against the Catholic Church and corrupt leaders in Czechoslovakia.
Despite a very good cast, that includes a cameo from Michael Caine, it’s one to avoid, due to the whole film, being disjointed.

I’m sorry, hate to put a downer on it. I went cos I got film membership to our local indie cinema for Christmas and my daughter enjoyed it, she has terrible film taste though.
You may not be as critical as me, go in with your eyes wide open - remember John Wayne though

Pretty lacklustre year for new movies really, as I've been mostly focused on watching old stuff. The top 5 on this list I consider pretty great, while the bottom 5 are enjoyable for what they are, but in no way masterpieces. Top Gun was my only 10/10 rating the entire year, while Deadstream for sure was the greatest surprise. A 'found footage (twitch live stream including chat)' Evil Dead tribute that's more enjoyable than Evil Dead in every single way in my book.
