The swimmers, powerful film based on the true story of the dangerous journey faced by 2 Syrian sisters trying to flee their homeland and eventually then trying to qualify for the Olympics. Good watch 8/10

Saw this a few weeks ago. Very uplifting. Also shows what people have to go through to escape war torn countries & poverty in order to find peace, stability, & an opportunity for a better life here in the west.

Just re watched Bowfinger, well funny, hadn't seen this for years, really under rated Eddie Murphy comedy

But I guess if the yard stick for social acceptance nowadays is absolute garbo like Top Gun and Halloween and brilliantly tight scripts superbly performed like Glass Onion are being labelled bang average then I give up.

Glass Onion brought nothing new to the genre.

It was tired and cliché.

Top Gun scratched the same itch that the first film did, welcome to the era of Marvel, please enjoy your stay.

Disagree. I thought it was brilliant that kept you guessing the whole way through. Watched it at the cinema and the audience was howling.

Marvel died with Endgame, but this weird untouchable grift that Cruise pulled off with Top Gun is just bizarre. Its one of the worst films Ive ever seen. They’d call Orson Welles a hack nowadays if he didn’t put Citizen Kane in a jumpsuit and barrel roll him around in an F-16.

You must have half a brain if you couldn’t figure out Glass Onion in 10 mins. It was boringly obvious.

Misha and the Wolves ( feature length documentary on Netflix )

A Belgian lady claims to have lived with and been brought up by wolves, as a little girl,in a Belgium forest, after escaping the Nazi roundups of Belgium Jews, during the Second World War.

Subsequently, releasing a best selling book and a film about her life.

However, some things don’t add up and things start to unravel for her.

A fascinating watch.
