The second film might be the slightly better movie overall, but the first one has nostalgia going for it in my book because of the N64 game. The first one had better action (less slow motion stuff), while the second film had the better cast (except for the very cartoony villains with some of the worst accents I've heard in a while). Oh, and Thandie Newton being a godess will forever be a plus.
I also just love the mask gimmicks in these movies, as silly as they are. It just cracks me up every time.
Interesting take
Personally ai would rate the MI movies
Fallout 9
Rogue Nation 8
MI3 7
Ghost Protocol 7
MI2 6
MI 6
I loved MI2 when it came out as a more straightforward action adventure but it has not aged very well given how all the sequels use the same formula and surpass #2, while Mi remains its own fairly unique thing.
Which one had the AWFUL motorcycle chase where the tires changed depending on what surface they were riding on? 2 or 3???Mission: Impossible III
The best one yet. Great cast, Philip Seymour Hoffman brilliant as the villain and the stakes are more personal in this one. Good stuff. The franchise is really starting to find it's footing now. 8/10

Medieval.
Apparently, it’s the most expensive film ever made, by a Czech film company. ( it’s an English language film )
Tells the tale of a legendary Czech mercenary, turned rebel army leader, in his fight against the Catholic Church and corrupt leaders in Czechoslovakia.
Despite a very good cast, that includes a cameo from Michael Caine, it’s one to avoid, due to the whole film, being disjointed.
The Mrs would still say:I started it, but the dialogue was especially painful, way too much exposition in every single conversation.
"You should speak to your brother, the Duke, who is leading the plot against the King."
"You want me to go to church and listen to Hus, the greatest anti-cleric of our time?"
Started at grating and quickly moved into unwatchable.
Swerve.
The jokes could write themselves hereThe Menu.
Was enjoyable.

This is how you make a film, watched last night (its on Disney) - absolutely fantastic.
I sat through the whole movie hoping that at some point it would switch up a gear.I started it, but the dialogue was especially painful, way too much exposition in every single conversation.
