Mothra - Japanese kaiju movie from 1961 about a giant moth who saves the island that worships it from crooks looking to profit from the shobijin, or small singing ladies

Troll - 80s B movie about a creature who takes on the appearance of a young girl he kidnaps and seeks to recreate his fantasy world by turning humans into various fairies and creatures

Ended up watching ‘A Man Called Otto’ last night. It was okay but wasn’t really too impressed. I’m a fan of Tom Hanks but he just didn’t sell the grumpy old man part for me. Felt he was kind of a weird choice for the role. I still need to watch the original.

Yeah I've not watched the new one, but he doesn't seem anywhere near at the stage of his life as the guy in the original one. I wonder if it even ended the same way
 
After trying (twice) unsuccessfully to watch it - I finally made my way through all of 'Everything Everywhere All At Once'

After getting through the initial exhausting 45 minutes - It really has a lot of heart, and I found it rather endearingly bonkers

Favourite parts included the hot dog fingers scenes with Jamie Lee Curtis and the pixelated butt plug fight scene

Will certainly be the most 'out there' to win Oscars for a long time
