I watched it on Sunday when hungover mate. Horrible watch as I don’t like heights and was rough as hell. Weirdly enjoyed it though lol
I said earlier in the TV Series thread that Netflix have released Luthor: The Fallen Sun.
If you watched the series then the film is a MUST.
Are you retired mate.Just got round to watching An Irish Goodbye. Great short film.
Lacked the tension of the first movie.Sicario 2
It was alright but didn't come even close to being as good as the first one. Was a bit too macho and unrealistic this time around, something the first one did well to avoid.
The villain was ridiculous and miscast, the script was terrible and the plot was worse.Whats not to enjoy about it?
That 5 minutes is a brilliant bit of filmmaking.Lacked the tension of the first movie.
The convoy scene in-and-out of Mexico and then at the border is difficult to top tbf
.

I think that’s why I enjoyed it. I went in with no high expectations. Wouldn’t watch it again likeI felt like a bit sick watching it like, made it all the more thrilling. It is defo weirdly enjoyable, it’s a crap plot with hardly any characters so should be really bad

I've seen this mentioned several times, but I think this is only true to people of a certain heritage/age. I'm sure there's plenty of young people who will have very little idea of the conflict, cetainly we never covered it in school (80s/90s in London), and it was never really explained anywhere else. Great performances, and some good dark humour, but without understanding the references I feel it's good, but a little bit meh. Sure my gf was making comparisons to Waiting for Godot too, which I also know nothing about. It's clear early on that the whole piece is an allegory for the Irish Civil War - (although references to it are few it's blindingly obvious).
Yes sorry. It was blindingly obvious to me, but would be maybe obvious to people with knowledge of the conflict.I've seen this mentioned several times, but I think this is only true to people of a certain heritage/age.
