Hard to believe Pacino walked away with zero Oscars after running off The Godfather, Serpico, The Godfather Part II and Dog Day Afternoon in succession. Still think he's better in the last than Jack was in Cuckoo's Nest (though Jack is fantastic, of course).
Dog Day Afternoon is incredible.
Favourite actor growing up, you could literally live off his films.. ( Think he did win one from 'Scent of a women' but certainly not one of his films you would expect when you think of his films you grew up watching...
Classic in every sense. My daughter and her boyfriend hadn’t ever seen it, so we watched with them the other night. Both amazed by it, they actually stated “they don’t make them like that now” felt old ! Great movie..
My wife had never seen it before either, she loved it!
Always envious of people who’ve never seen some of these classics when they see them for the first time, think I’ve run out of them!
