Last Film You Watched

Banger film. 20 mins of setup, hour and a half of utter carnage. Will be a 3rd.

I enjoyed it, but didn`t think it was as good as the first one.

The first one reminded me very much of an " outdoor " version of The Raid.

It was really tight and well put together.

I thought Extraction 2, was a bit disjointed in parts and some bits didn`t really work - I know it`s an action film and you`re not supposed to think about stuff like this !

Chris Hemsworth is perfect for the role though, as is the lady who plays his support Nikki ( can`t pronounce her name ! )

For Network films, they are top draw though.

Oh yeh definitely wasn't as good as the first film. This one was more your generic action blockbuster. Didn't particularly find the enemies all that convincing and yes, there were lots of "why didn't they just do that" moments.

I fancy the pants off his boss, she's badass.

I didn`t really get the Idris Elba cameo either ?

Bit of a waste of a fine actor.

Just got an email from my local Vue that next Tuesday they've got a "Mystery Film" event with an unnamed Summer blockbuster film.

Anyone elses Vue/cinema ever done this? Quite tempted but worried it'll be Barbie
God, you must be one seriously loyal customer/watcher.
Hope you get a free carton of popcorn with thar...

Gave this a watch yesterday:

A guy and his interpreter are stuck in a hostile middle eastern country and have to get out...

It's not a bad film, but Guy Ritchie already did this plot and did it way much better with 'The Covenant'.

It's just unfortunate that this got released afterwards and now looks inferior by comparison. 🤷‍♂️

The only other thing that makes a bit of sense is that after 'Rock 'n Roller', Gerard has been waiting eagerly by the phone, hoping that Guy would call and cast him in another one of his movies, and then he went ahead and cast Jake for the lead in 'The Covenant' without even giving Gerry a second look, so he made this movie to spite Guy?! 🤔

It's not that far fetched when you consider the timeline and take all the facts of the situation into account.

Watched Shooters for the first time in a long time the other night.

Some of the shots of the Liverpool skyline really made me think it's mad how much it's changed over the last 20 odd years. I know they're not actors but that does lend the film a bit of realism - it's a bit of a chronicle now.

On Netflix (although I have it on DVD somewhere), give it a go if you've not seen it.

Having now seen Kandahar it was a carbon copy of guy ritchies the covenant not as good but if you enjoyed the covenant you will enjoy kandahar
Snap! Just saw this now. My sentiments exactly! See above.
Extraction 2 is out today on Netflix, will be giving that a blast tonight.
Next on my list... This looks good.

He should have rather made a cameo appearance the movie I watched yesterday, 'Kandahar'.

It would have been a proper 'RocknRoller' reunion! 🤣🤣

In many ways, a load of sentimental old hogwash. Any film, though, that starts from the idea that whilst you don't need to be a total A-hole to be in charge most of them are, is fine by me. Best film I have seen in a long while ...

Have you seen 'The Shape of Water'? There's a scene in there where Sally Hawkins is starkers in the bathtub and goes to town full-on on her lady parts! Proper filth... 😈
