Overwork trope and after overworn trope in this one. I closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep about 25 minutes in.

Perfect end to that scene... He disembowels the commanding officer as he tries to escape and his guts just fall out everywhere!

Quite enjoyable, but also a bit more tame than expected. I did laugh a couple of times though. One thing's for sure, this movie could not have been made today lol

Haha. There's some nod towards takeshi Kitano somewhere and it's something to do with that scene I'm sure. And yes he's Japanese.
