I think you're getting your movies mixed up... There is a scene towards the end where a Japanese girl jumps in front of a train. But I don't think she was the director.

Haha. There's some nod towards takeshi Kitano somewhere and it's something to do with that scene I'm sure. And yes he's Japanese.

Went to watch Strays in the cinema today …. I was in stitches at parts go watch if you get a chance, don’t expect a classic but good for a laugh

I see people are giving this one 10/10s, but I just found it a little dull, mainly because they never set up the characters so I had any reason to care. Some nice visuals however. Space is always fascinating. 5/10

Smokey and the Bandit
Pure entertainment. Burt Reynolds was just the definition of a movie star. So charismatic and charming. 7/10
