So in 'Last Crusade' Snr is chasing down the cup of Christ. Now call me picky but I reckon there's some cross over research between these two historic phenomenon, yet there isn't so much as a sniff of James Bond or even a dry Martini in Raiders.

Raiders was decent, but The Last Crusade always wins it for me.

The Crusades, the Knight Templar's, Richard the Lionheart... All that stuff was such more interesting and there was a lot more you could do with in a movie.

Raiders did have that cool scene when all the Nazi's faces melted off when they opened the arc of the covenant though.

It could just be his acting style... I don't know. Better then his brother Ben though? Didn't mind him until he started being a jarg batman, FFS!

There's another one called 'A Ghost Story'.

A bit of a slow burner, but it's worth it until you get to the last frame of the film and then it all makes sense.

I thought “A Ghost Story” was great , it didn’t seem to have a long run in the cinema.

The Creator .... very good scifi by modern standards. Thoughtful story and with decent stylish effects - without being reliant on them.

Yip, that's because there were no explosions, CGI effects or babes in tight clothes with big breasts in it.

It was one for the hopeless romantics, I thought.
