It depends.

If someone is likely to have a meltdown when any female (apart from the one who gets chained up in a gold bikini) is given even a slightly empowering role or gets upset if the perfect male hero shows even a modicum of negative character development then I'd recommend Star Wars.

We watched the original star wars in the end and she was fairly underwhelmed. She much preferred back to the future.

Back to the Future is a good choice.
Just don’t depress her by telling her what happens to the real Marty McFly, aka Micheal J in his future after those films.

A very weird, 1970 lucha libre movie.

Objectively a bit crap, but I’d still kind of recommend watching it, especially if you’re on mushrooms or the like.

Back when the Star Wars prequels were released in the cinema, I worked with a fella who was a mad Star Wars fan. I asked if he was going to the midnight opening, he showed me his ticket and was bubbling with excitement and added that he was going to have an E prior.

Still laugh to myself at the thought of this fella buzzing hard off of his chemical high while watching lasers and ships flying through space.

Finally got round to watching Furiosa, I thought it was excellent. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Fury Road to be honest. Anna Taylor Joy and Chris Hemsworth were excellent, I wasn’t expecting much but it really surprised me

The attention of detail to the vehicles was mind blowing too.

They must`ve had an army of designers, engineers, welders and mechanics.

The first battle seen with the tanker was just off the scale, closely followed by every other battle scene.
