Last Film You Watched

Went to the theater Friday after work to see 'Longlegs' I personally really enjoyed it. It is a suspenseful slow burn, which most don't seem to like. Very few jump scares. The marketing of the film was excellent as you can see with the trailer. Highly recommend it.

It was too derivative for me (most movies are too some degree), but it was like they got some of the more famous movies from the late eighties / nineties and mixed them all together. It was ok, but no more than that for me.

The attention of detail to the vehicles was mind blowing too.

They must`ve had an army of designers, engineers, welders and mechanics.

The first battle seen with the tanker was just off the scale, closely followed by every other battle scene.

I didn’t even think of the prop design but you’re absolutely right. The action sequences were fantastic. I thought Anna Taylor Joy was brilliant in the role even without very little dialogue. Parts of it made me genuinely laugh out loud.

It’s always good to watch a film you don’t expect much of and come out of it loving it. I’ve seen they’re doing another Fury Road but I think they should do another follow on to Furiosa’s story

From what I’ve read, the next film will possibly be a Mad Max film, as Tom Hardy has signed up ?

Some cracking scenes to rival Open range or Dances with wolves but seems in no rush to get anywhere, almost like it's forgotten that even if it's an opening act it still has to be able to stand apart as it's own entity.
Would of made for a top drawer series.

Guy Pearce and the two female leads are great but the New Zealand scenery steals the show.
Solid, historical action.
