I found the AFIs top 100 films list a few years back and started from 1 and watching what I hadn’t seen. Saw that gem by Chaplin. Great stuff. He and Buster Keaton have work that still holds up.

One that had been on the watch list for ages, must have been inspired by all the Tenet chat. Good film and John David Washington even managed to sneak in a "my man".

Certainly gory and brutal, and at times difficult to look at, but it has that extra special something which leaves an impression.

Weird : The Al Yankovic Story, brilliantly bizarre film starring Daniel Radcliffe as Weird Al. Starts off as your standard (but exaggerated) biopic then does a 180 turning Al into an action hero rescuing Madonna

Just got in from it.

Visually stunning, both in the sets and cinematography and very theatrical in its presentation.

Nicholas Hoult was outstanding, Ralph Ineson very good too. Willem Defoe went full Nic Cage with his wild overacting.

Not sure about Bill Skarsgard as Nosferatu or Lilly Rose Depp.

Won’t be for everyone, but I thought it was really good.
