He did end up tapping Jenny McCarthy though, so not a total loss. Everyone sells out eventually.
 
The Jenny McCarthy of his time versus Donnie Wahlberg’s version I agree with you. A quick search of her then and now is night and day. So much filler she constantly drools all over herself while maintaining a surprises Joker face.

You know how stubborn I am by now. And as a properly stuck in his ways film snob, I'm a lost cause. Certain things I let through from stars I don't like, but it's a slim list.

I know what you mean, whenever I watch a Weinstein film, I get icky.

The Usual Suspects is still a great film, even tho Spacey is not a great person, allegedly.

I quote Tropic Thunder so much, its a must watch IMO.

I've binned will smith almost totally, but I love Hackman so 'Enemy of the state' squeaks a pass. Spacey is a very difficult person, 'Se7en', 'Suspects', 'LA Confidential', 'Glengarry Glen Ross', 'American Beauty'. Yeah the weinstein stink is difficult to navigate. 'Spartacus' used to be a non miss event, but I struggle now because kirk was an unapologetic rapist. Strange the personal filters we all assume and use, more levels of division I suppose.
This turned up in the CA area and I was very thankful. Deserves a repost.
 
We were just taking about Kevin Spacey last night. A lot of stuff out there about the way he treated people and other sexual allegations. But as an actor he was brilliant. Se7en was my first real exposure to him. Wow. And House of Cards was a master class until he was written out. The Usual Suspects was another. Tough to reconcile him though, like Will Smith.
 
Mel Gibson, too. All the Mad Max films and then the Lethal Weapon movies. Braveheart. Passion. But that drunken tirade is what he’s also about. Makes watching the films more difficult.
 

It's been easier cutting gibson out because he's mostly starred in crud for quite a while.

I really like 'Payback' though which is a remake of 'Point Blank' (1967), and if max comes back to the Miller universe as the bad guy (which has to happen) then I'll show some interest. Besides that, I'm with the diorama, he shouldn't have to hug the cactus but feck it!
