Last Film You Watched

I watched The Wrestler -"risible" wrestling based hokum about a supermarket worker who always wanted to be a wrestler, when he finally gets his shot it turns out he's a bit naff and should have stayed in the supermarket. It was a bit crap.

For a good film about wrestling, please see Shane Meadows 2004 short "Northern Soul" starring Toby Kebbel.

Clearly you didn't actually watch/pay any attention to the film. A) He was a wrestler the whole time, B) he was pretty good and c) he dies, so 'shoulda stayed in the supermarket' is a bit of an understatement!

Reeet then. Just got back from the Cinema. Nothing but praise for The Grey. Over the top at times and has pacing problems for a spell of about 20 minutes but i have to say the final third had me gripped. Neeson seems to be improving like a fine malt whiskey with age and would recommend this to any action/drama film lover.

8/10
Did you go with yer bird? If so, they could have smeared faeces on the screen and fed you sprouts and it would have still been a result.

Soldiering through the Saws again. That Jigsaw's got some terrific banter. He's like the most advanced, meticulous and brutal popcorner you could ever imagine. He even popcorns the police when they try and stop him ffs. He doesn't have to even be alive to popcorn people.

'Real Steel'

Christ!

Treat your kids to the Toy story series, or wallace & gromit. -1 / 10

Utter sh!te, the kind of thing I'd expect to see at half time in the beer terminal at the ground we won the league at before they existed.

I take my films seriously, we get all the kissy crap out of the way during the trailers, after that its me and the silver screen ffs

Just watched 'The Kill List' possibly the worst film i've ever seen with some of the most gratuitous violence.

The story confused the hell out of me with seemingly no direction and then just ended with no explanation or reasons as to why things happened. Avoid this flm its a waste of 1 1/2 hours of your life and will leave you wondering what the feck is going on.

violence 9/10

Didn't realise he died, definitely never saw that bit. But I'm actually glad if he did. Coz he was a tit.

Mate I'd swerve all three and go see Hugo.

'Hugo' might resurrect my spirits.
I thought 'real steel' was a bit average, especially because another child star (like Culkin, Lipnicki, Osment) has been let loose on the film industry that annoys simply for the sake of annoying.
'real steel' was virtually 'the godfather pt I' compared to 'cowboys and Failiens'.

'real steel' gets 2/10, one point for her out of lost thats in it, and for rehashing some old sci fi one liners.
'cowboys and failiens' gets 1/10 for having 13 from house in it. Craig and Ford should have known better. Much better.

In time doesn't have much to live up to.
