Good film. 8/10. Seen it before, still a great watch.
"The Fly" remake is on now, and its a stunner.
9/10. rewatch up the yazoo !
 


Haha forgot about that. The security guard having his head crushed by the lift was pretty brutal and the ending is horrible.

I was more taken aback recently by 'drive' and 'kill list'. I feel the boundary has been moved, the likes of 'Hostel' and a cacophony of sh!te horrors relying on torture-porn has required decent film makers to up the brutality ante.

I agree, in order to make an impact with the increasingly desensitised masses mainstream cinema has increased the graphic violence etc. accordingly. I'm not really into that stuff, psychological horror is more disturbing I reckon.
