Last Film You Watched

Had 'Skyline' on me tablet for ages and finally watched it on a flight last week. I wish I'd have just thrown the tablet out the emergency exit!

Watched 'The Martian' today.

Neither myself not the gf were excited but seeing as Matt Damon was in the lead and the only other option was "Pan"...

Really fantastic movie, totally different to that interstellar tosh or the one sandra bullock and clooney were in.

If you havent seen it then go and watch it.

Went to see it over the weekend. Quite a lot has been chopped from the book, which is understandable given that the book is very tech heavy. Matt Damon very good in the lead and a good blend of British actors too. However a few people walked out when I went to see it, as I think they were expecting an action film, which it most certainly isn't. Intelligent film and holds the attention .

my mate's midgets sat me down and forced me to watch 'Percy Thrower and the Lightning Seeds' or some such nonsense earlier.I thought is was a bit odd what with Percy Thrower dying and being buried in the Blue Peter garden in the late 80's and all, but thought I'd give it a shot anyway for the sake of a bit of peace.

Well, it was a complete waste of time. James Bond was in it but he was half Donkey for some reason, and it were about these American Teenagers who were a bit 'Special' in a funny Holiday camp where the had to keep fighting each other for a laugh. Then they ran away on a murder spree across the country to find Sean Bean (who didn't even die in it!!) whilst Alan Partridge tries to convince them to live in Hell. There was feck all Gardening tips in it and if Ian Broudie was in it, he must have been a feckin CGI gnome or something and there were none of his songs either.

Suppose it were all right fer Kiddies guff, but why they thought Percy Thrower (not that he looked anything like him anyway) would appeal to kids is beyond me, he's been dead 20 years. Come on Hollywood, pull yer finger out, you can come up with something better than this drivel.

Seen that 'Black mass' on me android box last night.....Chinese hardcoded subtitles......Was off-putting, and tbh, the film was a bit 'meh' anyway - lost interest after an hour or so, so just gawped at the screen while not taking too much notice of what was goin on.

Will watch again when I can watch it without the subs. Might be ok.

Went to see Sicario last night.

The film is ruined by the woeful miscasting of Emily Blunt as the lead and her sidekick, British actor - Daniel Kaluuya.

Without giving too much away, she just isn't convincing as a Swat veteran with principles and Kaluuyas only job seesm to be to follow her around looking miserable .

Could've been a great film.

6 drug mules out of 10.
