Last Film You Watched

Legend - Very very good. Another Hardy film I very much enjoyed.

Fast 7 - Awful. Just awful. Why did they continue after Tokyo Drift?

The Big Short - Brilliant film. Felt like a very tongue in cheek Wolf of Wall Street style but it pulled it off. Very good cast worked well together - Steve Carrell's character is incredible.

Into the Wild - Jaw dropping film based on a young man who loses the rag in a Falling Down kind of way and decides Alaska without equipment is the place for him. Stunning representation on his path there and the people who touched his lives and very nearly made him realise that his dream was flawed.

The Big Short next

Though enjoying Making a Murderer Season 1 series at the moment.

One of my favourites that, though I read up afterwards and they likely got the ending a bit wrong.

The Revenant.

Very good. The cinematography and the make-up in special were stunning. Yeah it's got a long runtime but I wasn't bored at all. I really recommend watching this on a big screen it's worth it.

9/10

Went to watch it last night. Incredible film and De Caprio puts in a stunning performance, got to be nailed on for an Oscar.

Thought Tom Hardy as support was a bit " hammy " tbh and it was difficult to understand what he was saying at times.

It's very " Cormac McCarthy " albeit in the snow and ice - extreme violence and brutality .

Anyone read the book it came from ?

Watched creed this morning, was good but I was concerned when I started welling up when rocky got the news from the woman. Sorry did not want to spoil by being more descriptive. 4 steps out of five.

Just watched Deception with Geoffrey Rush and Donald Sutherland
Interesting story, well filmed, well acted , deploy your plausibility pause button
Really enjoyed it and would really recommend
But I like thieves and art history X
