Saw this last night. Was good, but not quite great.

The scene with the wolves attacking the bison was far too CGI; a bit like a PS1 game. Points off for that.

Its basically a very poor, childish bore of a movie. Typical Samuel L Jackson typecasting and zero plot (well you can see through it immediately but expect much more to happen...it doesnt).

Dont bother watching it....its TERRIBLE !

So did I, but it's getting a real mix of opinion.

Thought the wordplay and cinetography was brilliant, plus typical tongue in cheek extreme violence as always with a Tarrantino.

The thing is most of the negetive reviews about it are from people who just dont like Tarrantino's work full stop. I cant see many people who like his previous films having anything bad to say about this.

How they filmed in those weather conditions is an achievement in itself too !

Queen of Earth

At the start I thought it was going to be an enjoyable, but forgettable, indie flick but it turned about to be really unnerving and great. About 2 best friends who go stay in a get away retreat and descends into a breakdown. Great, Bergmanesque, close up shots through and a rippling soundtrack.

On a side note, Elizabeth Moss has been brilliant in pretty much everything I have seen her in after Mad Men which is good to see. Shame she is a Scientologist.

I have US Netflix, watched it on there. Sure will be on Video on Demand and/or streaming websites. Don't think it made it to UK cinemas. Worth hunting out though, only 90 mins long too.
