Blink Twice: Has a similar eat-the-rich vibe as Triangle of Sadness and The Menu. Was ok, well shot and some willing performances but the characters were a bit one-dimensional

Deadpool and Wolverine: I tapped out on superhero movies some time back but this was thoroughly enjoyable. Genuine laugh out loud moments, great chemistry between the leads and an all round dumb but hilarious romp

Transformers One. Animated reboot/origin story of the Transformers series. It was good. It feels like a little bit of a missed opportunity tho cos this could have been amazing imo. A lot of the elements are there for it to have been so. It looks cool, and some scenes look great, they especially when they go to the surface. At times the art style seems almost photo realistic, and at others almost cartoony/anime. Loved most of how the robots looked, aside from their faces which were strangely smooth, and moved a bit weirdly when the characters spoke. Action scenes were quite good, but often ruined by the type of close up, quick cut editing/"camera work" you tend to get in fight scenes where the actors/choreography isn't very good, or it's difficult to physically film the scene. It's an animated film, you shouldn't have any of those concerns. At times it reminded me of a Michael Bay film, and then it turned out he was one of the producers. The story was fine, a bit X-Men First Class (?), gave me a Matrix vibe at times, and I feel it could have been that type/level of impact for the Transformers universe; had some cool scenes, decent action when not ruined by the Bay-isms, amazing looks at time, a bit gritty, but then it did this thing that seems to happen quite a lot in cinema recently of dropping in (admittedly funny/sometimes hilarious) jokes/sillyness just when the film/story was building up to something.... "more".
Overall 7 Transformation cogs out of 10, but could/should have been 8/9.

Yes, all set to go and watch this but got a couple of mates saying it’s trash, lady Gaga musical so will swerve until it’s on tv.
Its not a full on musical....they sing already composed (not written for the movie) songs at certain points in the film....80% of the script is spoken dialogue.

Joker 2

Not terrible but just boring and pointless.

The first movie is so iconic and singular which makes the character so good.

Music is fine which helps the story because it's poor but Lee (Harley) character is terrible and the ending is woeful.

It's a shame because it didn't need a sequel
