I don't think Watched Toffee is ITK at all, likely he's just covering his back since he said the deal was off the other day. Now whatever happens he can say he called it.Via twitter

A meeting is scheduled for today between the club and the Americans. Whether it goes ahead remains to be seen. Deal resurrection?

I have let it be known to staff on here that a Chinese group have been in discussions for months with the club.
They still were as of December.
Can we achieve Champions League Qualification and increased commercial / sponsorship growth without a new stadium?
Agree 100% on the management team and a new stadium would be great. Just seems so far off.
Wouldn't Champions League Qualification = increased commercial / sponsorship growth?
"No" would be my answer
I strongly believe that we won't kick on any more than where we currently are until we sort the stadium
New Stadium means new owners, who mean more money, who mean us having an actual chance to be a regular in the CL Mix, IMO
....I have always been of this view but I have to say I'm less certain now. I remind myself of the old Cavern and the short-sighted (but perhaps sensible at the time) decision to turn it into a car park. There won't be many grounds left like ours, especially with it's longevity and history so perhaps we need to consider future proofing our stadium whilst maintaining its tradition. If that can't be achieved then moving is the option.
Since the Times article before Xmas it's amazing how quiet things have been, I'd imagine the 6 week period is almost up, the only rumblings have been on forums such as this, all I can gather from that is nothing seems to be in the pipeline. We all know Newspapers like to fill the column inches with absolute drivel so the fact they have absolutely nothing to say about interest makes me think nothing is remotely close to happening. Perhaps I'm just reading into this to much.
What is clear is we are the 18th highest revenue making machine in world football, and considering we outsource nearly everything I refuse to believe we are not an attractive proposition for a wealthy businessman.

Afternoon mate how are you today. What if you're wong?
"No" would be my answer
You don't think this squad has the quality to finish in the top 4?

With the Starfish in goal? Not a chance
We need back up for Lukaku, someone to play on the left side of midfield and a new keeper before we'll finish in the Top 4 IMO
