Leeds fans would kill for a Randy Lerner at their club. And so on...

There's always people worse off than you - that shouldn't be used to excuse poor performance of your own current owners.

Yep.

Dont forget Lerner pulled the plug after throwing loads of money at Martin O'Neil and he won zip with them.

Same with Hicks and Gillet. Same with the RS new owners.

This article doesn't have me too worried tbh. Everything sounds good up until his personal life goes wrong. This time it's not just him either, it's a consortium.

I think a lot of people are bound to be worried about the ownership of the club changing hands, but I'm positive about it. This could really move us on to the next level.
I'm a little puzzled as to how his domestic situation could effect results on the playing field.

Funny seeing how little the media are reporting this, and also how little they know about it.

Talk Sport : "American Man wants to buy Everton, he did want to buy Swansea in the past"

That could not be so wrong.

Not expecting us to start signing 2/3 £20m players every summer, and i think we all shouldnt be expecting that. Whilst i think we'll spend more than we do now, the real investment and improvement from our American Overlords will be off the field i think.

So, let me get this straight. Kenwright has done a good job at EFC because person X has done even worse at club Y? Sorry, I don't get that. If your centre forward is rubbish, you don't say "Tell you what though, so and so at such a club is even worse" Why do it regarding the chairman? I make my mind up on Blue Gravel Bill in the context of EFC only. No trophies in a quarter of a century and sold off all our assets including the training ground. Hope he is careful who he sells us to, otherwise his legacy will be even more shameful.
For us to compete for the league we would have needed access to billions, not millions. And that's Bills fault Because? Our league positions for the last fifteen years have been excellent when you factor in we are a club in NW England with no money and no global fanbase

Where is the poor performance? We've been top 5_8 for the last ten years, consistently finishing above teams many times our size
