Have a look at Liverpools turnover, is it many times ours? They may have better grounds and access to more money than us, but to say they are "many times" bigger than Everton is just plain ridiculous.
Do you realise how much bigger Liverpool are than us? Or Spurs?
What, your blaming Kenwright for Johnson?
Have a lie down
I meant since Kenwright took over, I should have stated that more clearly. The stability of Everton? We should have been relegated in 1998. Admittedly, it was when Johnson was chairman but Kenwright had been on the board for the best part of a decade then.
Yeah, it was cos they had better catering, of course, it's so obvious now you've explained itSpurs, Villa and Newcastle? Oh, the irony. Maybe they had access to more money and had better grounds because they were better run for at least some of the time in the last 2 and a half decades? It didn't have to be that way. You are looking through the rear mirror and assuming our fate was not in our own hands, it was. Better leadership in the boardroom was the key. We lacked it.
What a load of absolute toshNope, I am blaming those that ran the club at that time. Those known as the Board. Kenwright was one of those, so shares responsibility for that near miss. Absolutely.
Goes without saying mate , I believe this is a done deal all bar ironing out a few details.Yes but we have had stories like this before its only a meeting etc - they will not want to meet the asking price no buyer will!
I'm guessing Liverpool maybe one of the three clubs along with Utd and Arsenal. The only clubs to have won the title more than us. That's how success is measured throughout history.Do you realise how much bigger Liverpool are than us? Or Spurs?
Were we slightly the better option than Swansea for these potential buyers?
A bit of a worry for me.

Purely in financial termsWhen you say "bigger". How are you quantifying that?

Right on.I'm guessing Liverpool maybe one of the three clubs along with Utd and Arsenal. The only clubs to have won the title more than us. That's how success is measured throughout history.
