Must be that £150,000 a week. He was only whinging about that new one getting £220,000 a week not so long ago

And those Bluemoon plebs will go mental over the "smaller club" comments.

They're MASSIVE you know?

Afternoon Blues.
Just got back from a week in Newquay with the family, very interesting it was too.
Had the usual southern reds not knowing what they're on about, which is pretty much inevitable on any holiday, but the thing which I really noticed was the look of utter disgust on the faces of other fans from different clubs when I walked past them in a City top, or if my lad was in a City top. The first HOUR we were there me and my lad walked to the site shop and he had his City top on. This guy was there, (a Chelsea fan), with his dog and my lad asked what kind of dog it was, 'he doesn't like Man City fans', he said. Now I'm a good judge of how things are spoken, and this was now banter from the guy, he genuinely didn't want to talk to us, the dick. Then there was the shop assistant who said in the most ****-ish way, 'ah the old Man City fan eh, full of cash and still no trophy'!!!! Couldn't believe it but took that one as banter. It was the faces of the other fans which really struck me though, people almost sneered at me whenever I had a City top on, they looked physically pissed off at me, was never like that in the older days. I realise its jealousy etc, but I was really genuinely surprised at peoples views/opinions of us now. Anyone else noticed it?

Now, no need for the fella to be a cock to his lad like but I mean really, is there a massive white elephant in your room?

Can you check it, the graffiti on the side of it reads "because you're acting like classless c*nts". Does everyone just pretend this doesn't happen like?

We're is that Garry.Cook fella who was defending Lego head last week, he gone strangely quiet

Glad it's not just me then.

Eventually the owner will find out how much his name is taking a hammering in the eyes of 99% of the football world, and once that happens he will be straight out of there. City by then will be stuck paying their 93-man squad an average wage of £300,000 a week and will go out of business so quickly it'll make Joleon Lescott's head spin.

For those who haven't seen it. Always ace to see a Lescott own goal.

The reason why I link it though is not that, it's because I have a fascination with goalkeepers expressions after they have conceeded a goal. It's wonderful, and they well know they're being filmed which influences what they choose to do.

I'm a particular fan of the "distant, male rape victim stare". In which both Hart and Given give some wonderful examples of here.

Obinna got himself a goal and made Lescrott score as well, great stuff.

Everscum. They really hate us on Bluemoon don't they

Howdy...i'm still here don't worry. Just wondering where to start with half of the bull that's been posted since I last visited.

Let me start by saying that most of my "questions" were answered poorly...when I asked how people know about our backroom policies/players wages/ transfer strategies/tactics etc, I got the answer 'because look at how much you're paying players' etc etc. The answer I was looking for was "We don't know what goes on behind the scenes at City, we just hope the paper's are right because it sounds funny".

Secondly that friendly against Inter was a bit of a nightmare to be honest...it wasn't, however, as bad as you lot like to make it sound. Their "reserve" team included the likes of Stankovic, Materazzi, Eto'o and some kids. Similarly our squad had Adebayor, Yaya, Lescott and a lot of kids...no De Jong, Silva, Tevez etc. We also had Vieira sent off after 10 mins but I suppose it's funnier to ignore that.

From my short time on this forum I honestly reckon the vast majority of you are VERY bitter about having a club (who you perceive to be smaller) coming in and turning your players heads. After all, you are the 'peoples club' who everyone wants to play for and would never willingly leave. You are obsessed with beating us twice in the league but when it comes to asking about league position it's "NO BUT WE STARTED BADLY...IF THE LEAGUE STARTED AT CHRISTMAS WE WOULD'VE BEAT YOU". It didn't.

I, and a lot of other blues, am very impressed with Moyes' spending and the way he gets the best out of his squad (and I say this despite hating the guy). True, Everton have won more in the past and could quite easily challenge for the odd F.A or league cup in the future but most of you genuinely dismiss the fact that City have the resources to challenge for bigger things in the future by saying "you've had two years and won nothing"...well that's hardly the point is it? We have had to transform from a mid-table team to a league-challenging side and obviously that can't be done in one transfer window. The more you point and laugh at the idea of City winning more than you in the future, the more delusional you make yourself look.

Rant over.

It makes me chuckle that you think he cares what other football fans think. So much so that he would cut his losses on the millions he has already invested and run away crying. Dream on, toffee.

If Man Citeh can challenge for the title this year....Tottenham can to because IMO they have a better squad.

Pundits, eh? Know nothing.

Oh and Citeh for all their cash spent, do not have 1 creative midfield player. The one who is (Ireland) is on his way out.

We have two...Ireland and Silva.

Maybe you would find this video interesting...do you ever bother looking for info before you post?

That was quite a rant....

Think a lot of what's been said is a little tongue in cheek. There's definitely a bitter taste still from Lescott and Man City

I'm guessing there is with your self when you say you hate Moyes (I'm guessing that's why you hate him?). To be fair to him, he said he valued Lescott at 30m. City didn't want to pay that, well tough, that's what Moyes was saying HE valued him at (i.e. he values Lescott more than Man City did in my opinion), therefore no deal. Obviously in hindsight it would have been nicer to have got the money earlier and not spoilt our summer, start of the season, but hey ho, that happened

Soon enough, everyone could be like Man City with billions of pounds and thousands of players, the feeling is then, football will be finished for me. Where's the fun in it? I know Chelsea etc have all the done the same, but I felt at the time Man Utd were buying all their multi million pound players, they were also winning things. Man City haven't yet, but I really do think they will win something soon. When there suddenly becomes 10 billionaire owners all wanting CL football, it will just be rediculous, I guess the rules will then change too on number of teams allowed to enter, so they can start earning some money back, and keeping enourmous squads of "world class players" happy. Just reminds me of buying a computer game as a kid, then buying the cheat book later that afternoon and completing the game.....

I'd still take all the money in the world being thrown at Everton, don't get me wrong, but until that day.....I don't think anyone's gonna say well done City really?? You should be winning everything with the money spent...but sometimes it takes a little more than 30 top drawer players to do so. For me, it's all about the youth system and seeing how they progress to the first team, but obviously I'm old fashioned. There's not a player at City I would swap for Jack Rodwell

Anyway, I have no idea where I'm going with this, ha

Rant over

Yeh the reason I personally dislike Moyes is the way he was the first one to go to the press with the Lescott saga so he could publicly declare Lescott was not for sale, then blamed us when it carried on in the public eye. He called us classless but ironically he started the whole thing and had just got back from poaching that Luke Garbutt lad from Leeds Utd. Do as I say, not as I do came to mind.
