If he did it was off camera...and likely resulted in a decent finish. Making the bench was surely fap worthy at his age.
I think it was unusual that he wasn't allowed to play on Monday night with the under 21 team against Man Utd, but did not come off the bench against Reading.
They could have allowed him to play the under 21 game and then he could have travelled to join up with the senior squad.
I can only imagine that the plan was to give a run against Reading depending how the game went.

Martinez is insistent that he'll be part of the first-team very soon but he's said that about players before and still left them in the reserves or sent them on loan. Would like to see him get some minutes in the upcoming weeks, even if it's just a few cameo appearances from the bench at the end of games. Least let the lad feel involved.
