He's a confidence player low on confidence and struggling to live up to the hype, at 21 he might have matured physically but mentally he still has a long way to go, when he does we will have one hell of a player on our hands.

Aaron Ramsey is a really good example of what happens when a player with all the talent in the world conquers his mental demons. Up until two seasons ago he was a peripheral figure at arsenal, now one of the best players in the league imo.

Gareth Bale another good example, Spurs didn't win a game he started for what seemed like an eternity and then it all seemed to fall in to place for him to become the most expensive player in the world.

Cristiano Ronoldo had zero end product when he first moved to United, took him a couple of seasons to really start performing and he goes on to be one of the greatest players in history.

A bit too soon to write our Ross off just yet.

I'm not saying it isn't confidence mate but why are people saying Barkley has confidence issues but Kone is just poo?

Swansea away, City at home, Arsenal this pre-season.
Swansea away was a decent freekick like, city goal was BOSSSSS, Arsenal was DECENT.
Shelvey has scored better goals, hey, arbeloa has probably scored a [Poor language removed] goal like that in his career

Don't swear

Don't compare Bale and Ronaldo to Ross [Poor language removed] Barkley.

One good goal

Yippee

Bet Shelvey has never scored a screamer has he??

*thread banned

Not sure why, but I'm pretty sure you're a Blue taking the rip out of folk who are giving Barkley a hard time rather than a kopite on a wind-up, but, if I'm wrong ...

All adjectives greater than "good".

No more further questions your honour.

Also, don't compare Barkley to Shelvey. That's like comparing Adidas to Fila.

The pressure he has is huge. Look at Ledson, hes a good player for his age and he had the hype since he's been 15 if not younger. It doesn't do them any good. It's brilliant we have local lads playing for the club they support but I think its bad in other ways. If I were a parent of Barkley, Ledson then I would tell them to get out the club if not country for their career but obviously I shouldn't be saying that here.
Deulofeu has had more hype than all of our players combined. He was thought to be the new Messi at Barcelona. That's a whole new level.

But it's a part of modern football ultimately if they are good enough it won't matter. The times when it's a problem is when they aren't. There's a huge step up from youth player to premier league player and another one entirely to be top 4 standard never mind world class.

The reality is very few even the most hyped will even make it to be a decent premier league player.

left foot right foot how many left footed pearlers shelvey ever scored

Let's wait and see if Yarmolenko actually goes there first hey.
Since Yarmolenko is the one I've wanted since the start of the window I've been following any developments with him. A part from a little interest with Liverpool and Chelsea at the start of the season no other club looks to be interested. I think it's just a matter of finalizing the wage demands.

However the guy is an assists and goals machine plus he has never been injured his whole career.

Would seriously if it happens make Spurs dark horses for top 4.
