Leeds United

Leeds are a conundrum. You look at parts of the club and you think what’s the big deal, then other parts of the club you can see why they are considered a big club.

Guessing you’re happy that the ‘bigot four’ are finally back together: Chelsea, Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle. Disgusting institutions and fan base.
Actually never occurred to me to pigeonhole us with those teams, but you’re entitled to your opinion and I can see the point you’re attempting to make.

I reckon Leeds will become established in the prem again. Bielsa is a driven guy.
Whether they can hit the top is very doubtful though as they don't have the resources.

As far as I can tell there are only two reasons to be happy Leeds are back and it is these:

Hoping to bump into her at the Blue Dragon getting her curry sauce and chips before the game.

I thought I saw her at Crosby beach last year and just thought why would she be there. Saw a photo on her Twitter a few days later of her by Crosby baths with her family, apparently they live in Crosby.

Not that I'm stalking her or anything...

I don't even think Biesla is that special also.

Dont get me wrong he's a good manager who drills his players well - but they seem to go on bad runs over the last 2 seasons under him which in the Prem can be a killer.

I imagine if Villa/Bournemouth/Norwich go down the remaining teams bar Watford all have good goalscorers (even Brighton have Maupay) and probably better players **on paper** so I think they'll do well to reach mid table safety next season when their best player is probably Bamford.

I think Sheffield Utd have been more an anomaly than the standard of teams shooting up because they work hard.

I think the reason teams like Sheff Utd / Leicester done so well this season was because outside of Liverpool all the top teams have been bang average and the points have been shared alot more equally around the other 19 teams creating a closer league.

I think the top 6 will be much stronger next season and we will go back to there being a much spaced apart league.

Their accent makes me feel nauseous. What’s even worse is they exaggerate their accent in social situations as a way of showing off. BAA BAAA BAAA T T T T BAAA DER. Awful club.

Actually I guess Chelsea are under no pretences that they are scum. They kind of revel in it, like a premier league Milwall. Leeds, Liverpool and Newcastle seem to think that everyone likes and respects them.

The demand wasn’t there back then obviously because whilst they were one of the best teams in the world, they could only average 39k when the ground held 50k+. I’m not saying it will be true, but I bet Leeds will come out with that demand is there for 60-70k. Didn’t they have over 200k applications for a ticket in one of their play off finals a few years back? That also came from the club , so not sure how true.
doncaster game. Wembley wouldnt give us extra tickets. About 3000 Leeds were in Doncaster end. Crap day out they played us off the park. Thats how bad it can get.-15 points season.

I think all the Leeds fans sternly dislike Bamford cause he’s useless, don’t they?

So I’d say they’d say Phillips is their best player, personally don’t think they’ve got standout players, but in the Championship (as you saw with Huddersfield), If you’re more consistent than the others, any average team can go up.

But I actually think Bielsa is a good manager, but Leeds aren’t very good. I’m sure they’ll Improve and it’s a huge accomplishment getting out of the Championship, as for me, it’s the hardest league to get out of aswell as the Most entertaining league in the world, as who knows what’s going to happen.

Scousers exaggerate their accents at least the ones who live near me in Warrington do. I love the Yorkshire accent one of the finest in the country, unlike scouse

But in the 80's when we were flying you were division 2 for a part of that too.
I remember before Kendalls team started to click alot of Evertonians wanted him sacked.Remember watching the Oxford cup game and it was a bit like Ferguson with manure at Forest last chance saloon. I think a Gary McAllister last minute goal and Everton led to our financial circumstances, by letting Liverpool qualify for the champions league. Ridsdale had banked on us qualifying.I think you Everton fans should be more sympathetic. Football is all about fine margins after the Champions League semi final it started to unravel. We played two good Spanish teams Deportivo and Valencia , who have really never sustained the financials to achieve CL football. Its all weighted to the usual power houses with vast backing.

It's hard to be sympathetic when you're fans think you automatically slot into the top 6 and you're bigger than us besides when every conceivable metric says otherwise.
