legends of the decades

Been our best player for 30 years in fairness.
Not seen any other world class performance, apart from Rooney maybe
Beardsley had two excellent seasons but hardly merits being voted the 'legend of the decade'. Andrei had the best single season of the decade but, then again, Lineker arguably has the best single season of the 80s- certainly from an outfield player- neither comes close to be our legend of the decade(s).

Lineker is bloody reason I support this club.

Too hard to choose just 1 so I'm choosing 3...in order:

90s: Watson, Ferguson, Campbell
00s: Cahill, Jagielka, Howard
10s: Baines, Coleman, Lukaku
Current: Richarlison, Pickford, no one else I can think of

yes Beardsley was definitely up there as most talented player we had during 90s. Him and Andrei only top outfield players we had. But they definitely werent our best servants like Southall and watson

For me growing up in the 90s there was nobody that reflected that time better than Ferguson, passionate, completely erratic, capable of glorious moments but also ultimately a let down long term.

Then I think it’s pretty clearly
00s Cahill
10s Coleman
20s Richarlison
For me!

Honourable mention for Fellaini because nobody else mentioned him yet and he was genuinely outstanding for a few of those Moyes years
Yes, I agree with Fellaini - at times he was unplayable (in the good sense), Amber his pirouette against Man City?
